About

We, Emily and Owen, started Nature Delivered to make it easier for people to connect with local farmers in the North Okanagan - Shuswap.

Our farm, Shuswap Organics, is one of several farms in the area that the vegetables and fruit we sell will come from this winter. We'll have farmer profiles up as soon as possible, and when you look at an item in our shop you will be able to see who grew that item.

Starting this business in the winter season may seem counterintuitive, but we've noticed it is the most difficult time of year to eat local food - your gardens are put to bed, and many farmers stop going to farmers markets or doing Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) boxes.

We don't grow enough variety or volume of veggies to keep Nature Delivered going all winter, but we will aggregate produce from other farms to get fresh local food on your plates all winter long.

In the depths of winter, if we cannot source vegetables from North Okanagan - Shuswap farmers we will turn to growers in the lower mainland and beyond. We'll make sure you know when a product is coming from further afield. As we learn what the appetite for local winter veggies and fruit is we can work with local growers to grow more for us for next winter - good for you and good for local farmers.

We're starting with home delivery to Enderby, Armstrong, Salmon Arm, and Blind Bay, but hope to add more communities as we grow. If you want us in your neighbourhood, contact us
