Chelsea and James Keenan moved from Surrey to a thirty-five acre property on Yankee Flats Road in Silver Creek in 2017, and built the farm from scratch.
They raise free-range laying hens on a non-GMO diet that is free of both corn and soy, alongside pasture-raised pork and lamb. They won an expansion quota through BC Egg's New Producer Program.
The eggs are what the shop carries, and they are a staple rather than a seasonal item. The farm is not certified organic; it has been Animal Welfare Approved by A Greener World since 2019. The Keenans also own Black Forest Noodle Co, whose noodles are made with these eggs.
