Salmon Arm is really the local hub of our lives.
It's where we have friends, run errands, take part in community events and spend plenty of family time. We love long walks along the lakeshore, Roots and Blues in the summer, and the annual Salmon Arm Fall Fair is always a favourite.
It's also surrounded by some fantastic farms and food producers.
Nature Delivered brings food from our farm and other growers and producers throughout the Shuswap and surrounding region together in one online shop, with home delivery in Salmon Arm every Friday.
Grown close to home
This is about as local as it gets for us.
Our own farm, Shuswap Organics, is here in the Shuswap, and we work with a growing community of farmers and food producers around Salmon Arm and the surrounding area.

We're farmers, so we're obviously big fans of farm stands and farmers' markets.
But we also understand real life.
Sometimes you don't have time to drive around to several different places to put together the groceries you need for the week.
That's really the problem Nature Delivered is trying to solve.
We bring food from different farms and producers together. You shop it all in one place, we gather and pack your order, and then we deliver it to your Salmon Arm home.

What's growing right now?
That's one of our favourite questions.
The answer changes constantly.
During the Shuswap growing season, you'll find all sorts of vegetables and fruit coming into the shop from our farm and other growers in the area.
As the season changes, so does the food.
We prioritize local and regional farms whenever possible, but we don't pretend everything can come from the Shuswap twelve months of the year. When local produce isn't available, we may source from elsewhere in BC or beyond. In the winter months at least 85% of our produce comes from BC and we're getting better every year.
We'll always tell you where it came from.
Why we do this
Nature Delivered grew out of our own experience as farmers.
There are so many people growing and producing great food around the Shuswap, but connecting all that food with the people who want to eat it isn't always easy.
We want to help bridge that gap.
For customers, that means being able to buy from multiple farms without spending the day driving around.
For farmers and producers, it means another way to get their food into homes in their own region.
And for us, it means getting to be part of a local food community that we genuinely care about.

Which Salmon Arm farms and producers do you work with?
Some of the farms and producers we work with in the area include Peterson Orchard, Sacred Earth Eco Farm, DeMille's, Elderberry Grove and Grass Roots Dairy. Our supplier list and what's available from each farm changes throughout the year.
Is your own farm nearby?
Yes. Shuswap Organics, our farm, is located in the Shuswap. We sell produce from our own farm through Nature Delivered alongside food from other growers and producers.
Can I build my own order?
Yes. Choose individual vegetables, fruit and other available products from the online shop. Farmer's Choice boxes are also available if you'd rather have us choose for you.
Is everything you sell local?
Local and regional food is our priority, but availability changes throughout the year. When something isn't available locally, particularly during winter and early spring, we may source from farther away in BC. In the winter months at least 85% of our produce is from the Shuswap - Okanagan region, and the rest is mostly from BC or the rest of Canada. On rare occasions we may have produce from Mexico. We do not source USA produce.
