About Monette Produce

Monette Produce is the vegetable arm of Monette Farms, a large family farming company with growing operations in several parts of British Columbia, including the Okanagan, the Cariboo and the Thompson-Nicola.

Red Kuri and Kabocha winter squash are what come through the shop under this name. Both are certified organic, and both are grown at Cache Creek.

Why we work with them

Winter squash keeps for months, and that is exactly what we need it to do. It holds through the stretch when almost nothing else is coming out of the ground here.

Cache Creek sits a few hours down the highway in the Thompson-Nicola. Monette is a larger operation than most of the farms on this list, and the squash itself is grown here in BC.
