Pilgrim's Produce was founded in 1991 by Robert and Kathryn Hettler, who returned from agricultural work in Brazil to grow organic food for their own community. They farmed it for thirty years.
In 2021 they passed the farm to Dan and Kat Saxton, who now run the 13.7 acre certified organic operation with their four children. The farm grows vegetables, fruit, berries, herbs and nuts, and runs a CSA, a farm store and a U-pick. Certification is through the North Okanagan Organic Association.
What reaches Nature Delivered follows the season closely: asparagus in spring, cherries at the height of summer, and white-fleshed sweet potatoes later in the year.
