Ty and Janice Shelton have run Sand Springs Ranch at Lac La Biche in Alberta for more than thirty-five years, certified organic since the 1980s. They grow about twenty acres of vegetables and potatoes.

Certified organic russet potatoes are what come through the shop from this ranch.

Why we work with them

By late winter the BC organic russet crop is finished, and russets are something people cook with all year. Sand Spring covers that stretch.
