SilverStar Veggies is a one acre market garden at the base of the SilverStar foothills on the edge of Vernon, founded in spring 2021 by Eric and Miho.
They farm rented land matched through the BC Young Agrarians Land Matching Program. Eric brings more than fifteen years of agricultural experience in Ireland and Canada. Miho has a background in French fine dining, gardening and foraging.
The garden is not certified organic, and no chemicals or pesticides are used on it. A small acreage means the list here is short and changes often: purple kohlrabi, heirloom tomatoes and blue hubbard squash have all come through.
