Wild Flight Farm was established in 1993 on twenty acres along the Shuswap River at Mara, and has been certified organic from the start.
Founders Hermann and Louise Bruns built the farm up over nearly three decades. Juan and Helen took over in March 2025 and continue the organic vegetable and herb production.
What arrives here tends towards the less usual: tatsoi, corn salad, watermelon radish, golden and purple top turnips, alongside staples like broccoli. Cooler storage lets the farm supply vegetables well beyond the growing season.
