Fresh Valley Farms uses regenerative farming practices, which are an important part of how nutrient-dense, pasture-raised meats are produced while maintaining habitats for wild fauna, and improving plant diversity. This means they frequently rotate animals through the pasture, prevent over-grazing, and ensure that pigs and cattle have access to a range of spaces, including shady wooded areas in summer, and shelter against rain or snow in the cooler months. The produce is always fresh and delicious and the prices are very competitive. It's the perfect combo for my budget! As a single person I usually order twice monthly and have never had produce spoil. The boxes are packed without loads of plastic with an option for drop off at Anna's Vitamins in Vernon which is so convenient for me. I love supporting Local especially knowing the food is primarily grown or sourced locally.
