Lake Country
Fresh, Local Fruit & Vegetables in Lake Country, BC

Delivered to your door every Thursday
We deliver fresh vegetables, fruit and other local food to homes throughout Lake Country every Thursday.
Most of what you'll find in our shop comes from our own farm or from other farms here in the Okanagan, North Okanagan and Shuswap. You can pick exactly what you'd like for the week, or choose one of our Farmer's Choice boxes and let us put together a selection for you.
An easier way to buy local food in Lake Country
We're lucky to live in a part of BC where so much great food is grown. The trouble is that buying directly from local farms can sometimes mean a lot of driving around.
That's where we come in.
Nature Delivered brings food from a number of local farms together in one online shop. You place your order, we gather and pack everything, and then bring it to your door in Lake Country.
Think of it a bit like an online farmers' market — except you don't have to leave home.
We deliver to Winfield, Oyama, Okanagan Centre, Carr's Landing and other areas within Lake Country. You can check our delivery map to see if your address is on our route.

What's in the shop?
It changes. A lot.
And that's intentional.
We follow the seasons and source locally whenever we can. In the middle of summer, that means an abundance of Okanagan vegetables and fruit. In the middle of winter, the selection naturally looks quite different (but is more diverse than you will expect!). We source from over seventeen small farms in the Okanagan Region!
Depending on the time of year, you might find things like leafy greens, carrots, beets, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, garlic, squash, apples, cherries, berries and plenty more.
We also carry other locally and regionally produced foods, like eggs, yogurt, bread, and milk, so you can add more than just produce to your weekly order.
The easiest way to see what's available is simply to check the shop. We update it as availability changes.

Where does our produce come from?
Many of the vegetables we sell are grown on our own farm, Shuswap Organics, in Grindrod, BC.
We also work with other growers throughout the Okanagan, North Okanagan and Shuswap. At last count we source from seventeen small farms in the Shuswap - Okanagan region. Whenever possible, we choose farms using organic and regenerative growing practices.
One thing that's important to us is being clear about where your food actually comes from.
“Local” can be a pretty vague word.
For us, it means sourcing as close to home as we reasonably can and telling you where the food was grown. When something isn't available locally (Shuswap Okanagan region) — which happens, especially in winter and early spring — we may bring it in from elsewhere in BC or Canada. We don't source from the USA. On rare occasions in the early spring when local produce is very scarce we may bring in the odd item from Mexico. Location is always labeled on a product, so you know where you are purchasing from.
We'd rather be upfront about that than pretend everything is local year-round.
Pick your own produce — or let us do it
If you like choosing exactly what ends up in your fridge, you can simply shop online and build your own order.
Add the vegetables, fruit and other food you want and we'll pack it all together for your Lake Country delivery.
If you'd rather not think about it, our Farmer's Choice boxes are the other option.
We choose a mix based on what's fresh, what's in season and what we have available from our farm and the other growers we work with.
Farmer's Choice boxes can be ordered once or set up as a subscription for regular deliveries.

Looking for organic produce in Lake Country?
Organic and regenerative farming are a big part of why Nature Delivered exists in the first place.
Our own farm, Shuswap Organics, is certified organic, and we prioritize working with other farms that share similar values.
Not every product in our shop is necessarily local or certified organic, though, so we provide sourcing information with all our products. That way you can decide what's important to you and your family.
Why Nature Delivered?
We're farmers ourselves, and Nature Delivered grew out of a pretty simple idea.
There are great farmers growing great food all around us. We wanted to make it easier for people to actually buy that food.
Instead of asking you to visit several different farms, markets and shops every week, we bring food from different growers together and deliver it.
It means one order for you, while helping more of your grocery dollars stay connected to farms and food producers in our region.
And we think that's a pretty good way to buy groceries.

In the winter months at least 85% of our produce is from the Shuswap - Okanagan region, and the rest is mostly from BC or the rest of Canada. On rare occasions we may have produce from Mexico. We do not source USA produce.
Is your produce organic?
Many of the farms and products we work with use organic growing practices, and we prioritize organic and regenerative agriculture. Check the information on individual products for details about how and where they were grown.
