Coronation Grapes
Coronation grapes are my favourite grapes of the season! These beautiful blue-purple grapes are seedless, juicy and intensely flavourful, with a distinctive sweet, fruity, slightly musky flavour that sets them apart from the everyday table grapes you find year-round.
They're delicious eaten straight from the bunch, but Coronations are also especially prized for preserving—their deep colour and bold grape flavour make absolutely beautiful jams, jellies and other preserves.

Great For
Snacking, lunchboxes, fruit platters, cheese boards, salads, freezing and preserving. Their rich flavour makes them particularly good paired with cheese, nuts and other savoury foods.
Storage
Keep grapes refrigerated and unwashed until you're ready to eat them. Store them in a breathable container or their original packaging and wash just before serving.
Build Your Basket
Pair with local apples and other seasonal fruit for easy snacks, or add cheese and crackers for a simple afternoon snack or grazing board.
Good to Know
Coronation is a Canadian-developed grape variety known for its deep blue-purple colour, seedless fruit and distinctive aromatic flavour. Unlike the mild green and red grapes available year-round, Coronations have a much more pronounced grape flavour—which is exactly why I look forward to them every season.
How to Stretch This
If you have more than you can eat fresh, freeze them whole for an easy cold snack or use them later in smoothies. For a bigger batch, Coronation grapes make fantastic jam and jelly—their naturally deep colour and strong flavour really shine when preserved.
