Parsnip - Conventional - BC

Parsnips are closely related to parsley and carrot, and have a sweet, earthy flavour with a texture somewhere between carrots and potatoes. Like other starchy root vegetables, they sweeten in the ground as the weather dips below freezing, making them extra tasty in our northern growing climate.
